Fees

Fees are based on a combined hourly rate and fixed fee. The fixed fee is based on many factors, including production costs, complexity, and estimated time for document preparation. Most Simple Wills, Powers of Attorney, Living Wills and Chapter 7 Bankruptcies fall within the fixed fee schedule and unless there is significant extra work involved shall be billed per the schedule. There will never be an extra fee without the client’s consent to such work. Analytical time will be billed at the Attorney’s standard hourly rate. Telephone calls to and from the client regarding the client’s case will also be billed at the Attorney’s hourly rate if the case falls outside the standard fee schedule, such as family law matters. The client will also be responsible for costs such as recording and certification fees, long distance telephone charges, travel expenses, postage, fax and photocopy charges.
